moving luggage b/w SOG & a Disney resort

We are thinking about splitting our 9 nights at WDW between SOG and a Disney resort (haven't decided which one yet) and I was wondering about having the luggage moved over to the Disney resort. I have read on the DIS about guests moving between 2 Disney resorts and the luggage will be brought over for you, but has anyone ever done it between SOG and a Disney resort? Wondering if we will need to do it ourselves or SOG does that too.

I know Disney will move it TO Shades of Green -- I've done it myself. As such, I'm pretty sure Shades of Green would do the same.

Hmmm I'm not sure either. I know that we will be staying a couple of nights at SOG this trip before moving over to the CR and we are just going to put the luggage in the car before we leave for the park that morning, and then just take them out and check in at the CR.

Ok just called SOG front desk and the person I spoke with said that she wasn't aware that they do any luggage transfer and hasn't known of it being done. She basically stated that they don't have anyone assigned to that type of duty.

Definitly wouldn't hurt to continue to look into this... perhaps someone heading down to SOG soon can check it out?

Try asking the Bell Services stand... they'd know more than the front desk, seeing as they'd be the ones doing it.
