Moving in the mansion

Was just in attic in the mansion and there were a couple other players there. No ghost - like several minutes.... VMK_Sunny came in and I greeted her and she said, "Move around, the ghosts like you to move" or something to that effect, so we did and the ghost appeared. I mention this because for a long time people have said, "move around," and I was not sure it really mattered, but here is confirmation.

Just FYI

She also said, "Have a Sunny VMK day!" which was kind of cute!

I have seen her tell people this before, I still don't buy it. Those instructions are for in the mansion game during play. I usually find when they don't come out - nothing works other times its a fairly short wait. Honestly, I don't believe this works either but if I had to weigh methods people use I would say telling the ghost you have cookies seems to get them out quicker but this is just an observation.

I agree. Everytime I go into the Mansion I start dancing and then a ghost appears.

I tried walking around like a crazy person - didn't work
I tried dancing - didn't work

Funny I was in the mansion yesterday and people were telling us not to move the exact opposite. I think it took the ghost longer that way. But everyone stood so still so funny.
