I have a cruise booked for April 2023, we are thinking of moving it to June/July when those dates are released. Is this going to be a major hassle? Am I going to lose money? Thanks!

It is very easy to move your cruise date - we have done it a number of times through our TA without any problems. You will pay whatever the going rate is for the new cruise so you won't lose money, but the new cruise might be more expensive since it is during the summer months.

As noted it's easy to do. Just be sure you say you want to "change" or "move" your reservation when you call. DON'T say "cancel & rebook".

You won't lose money, but if the new cruise (even if it's the same itinerary) costs more, you'll owe more money. You can't transfer the cost forward.

If you used a TA, the TA will need to make the change for you. If not, you may be able to change it yourself online once those dates open. Otherwise, you'll need to call. Any funds you have paid to-date will transfer.

Since this is 2023, you should be able to cancel with no penalty unless you are concierge, since concierge has a nonrefundable deposit. That may be easier since that way you can just book the new cruise online rather than messing with a modification when phone wait times are long on “opening day” when new itineraries are released.
