We're driving down to Disney in December. On Dec. 24, we are moving from OKW to Pop Century. We also have a 9:15am reservation at 1900 Park Fare that morning. This is the plan: Check out from OKW and have Disney move our luggage to Pop. We're going to drive to Grand Floridian for breakfast. Then we're going to drive to POP, park the car, and then take a bus to MK for the remainder of the day.

My question- will they let us park at Grand Floridian for free since we have the dining reservation?

Second question- From the time we leave 1900 Park Fare, how long before we reach MK? Will it take us more than an hour to drop off the car at POP and catch a bus to MK? Does anyone else wish Disney had a way to move cars along with luggage??!?!? lol

Thank you all so much for your help!!!

They should allow you to park at GF for a few hours during your breakfast reservation.

I would plan for it to take closer to 90 - 120 minutes from the time that you leave 1900 until you reach the MK gates if you park at GF then drive to Pop and then take a bus to the MK.

Why not park the car in the MK lot, take the resort monorail to GF and then take either the monorail or boat to MK afterward? You can retrieve your car after you have finished your day at MK. It would be much less time spent moving the car around.

I would park at the TTC and take the monorail to GF for your breakfast. Then I would take the boat or monorail to the MK spend the day at the MK then go to the TTC get your car and drive to Pop. It saves you an unnecessary trip to and from Pop. You could also park at GF and pay to valet your car and just leave it there while you're at MK and pick it up after your day at the park and drive to Pop. Either way you probably save about 90 minutes of park time.

I would just park at tcc. Or splurge and Valet at GF before breakfast and retrieve it when you're done for the day.

I've had reservations at 2 different hotels on Disney property before, and packed up and moved myself. Then I was informed that Disney would be happy to move my luggage for me to another resort on property. If that would make the move easier you should try it!

Otherwise I agree with Towmater92, park at TTC and Monorail it.

Thanks guys! We'll park the car at TTC and take the Monorail to Grand Floridian. At the end of the night, we'll just drive to POP. How long is the ride from MK to GF?

About 2 minutes or less if the monorail does not have to wait for traffic ahead to clear the Magic Kingdom station.
