Monty Python and the Holy Grail
The good version is on DVD.
It's about King Arthur, who must find some knights to sit with him at the round table in Camelot. After encountering Swallow-obsessed guards, he finds a black plague ridden village for one of the most twisted scenes in the movie. He finally finds a knight, the quiet Sir Bedevere. Shortly after, he finds other knights: Sir Lancelot the Brave, Sir Galahad the Pure, and Sir Robin the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot. They finally get to be very near Camelot, but literally after a short song and dance they decide not to go there. God seems annoyed with this, so he opens the heavens and talks to Arthur and his Knights, telling them to find the Holy Grail. Thus, the search begins, as the Knights encounter potty-mouthed Frenchmen, a killer rabbit, a huge monster, a group of knights that say "Nee!" constantly, and a whole bunch of other wacky obstacles.
It's a freaking hilarious movie. I don't own it (I rented it once), but I still love it. I want to buy it.
