I am really surprised to see a food court without any allergy safe to go items.

The chef I spoke with seemed almost embarrassed with the lack of safe food.

I did see soy milk but no enjoy life or omg snacks. Chef did say they no longer buy divies.

WOW!!! I'm truely shocked. I wonder if that's standard now or if they're in the process of switching suppliers again and just haven't managed to stock the resort? Just, WOW!! Maybe they'll soon have Babycakes stuff there like at AoA? Again, all I can say is WOW. I'd be super upset if I was staying there without any allergy safe treats when allergy food is one of the biggest reasons we return time after time. Did the chef say anything about the reason why they had nothing?

Was the milk Kikkoman?

Music doesnt have safe grab and go either. We did pop into AoA and the do have a good sized safe grab and go area. I will post some pics in a few days.

Neither the front desk or the food court manager at movies seem to get it.

I will check the milk i know it said pearl i think that is kikoman.

We had a hard time at the Value's the last few trips, too. Anymore we just pack them in our suitcases at home or go to Publix and get some (just like we would if we were vacationing anywhere else). OP, it IS annoying, isn't it?! I have had a hard time finding allergy snacks most EVERYWHERE on WDW property except for Sunshine Seasons.... and that was only after I asked a CM where they were. :headache:

Disappointing experience at cosmic rays. They do not have the allergen free tenders. Udi buns. No dairy free desserts. Had to explain to supervisor gluten free is not the same as dairy free.

I think the new mind set is to only have safe dining at ts. That seems to be the answer for every guestion I have asked.

We've never been able to get the chicken tenders at Cosmic Ray's. We typically get rotisserie chicken there. They used to carry the Ener-G buns but we couldn't use them anyway. I'm surprised they didn't have anything dairy free for dessert there. Wow. I wonder what's going on? Geez, this is not making me feel very confident in the portion of our upcoming trip where we've got the QSDP. We'll be eating a lot of the meals at our resort (AoA where we've seen pictures of lots of treats including Babycakes) but in the parks I think I'm getting nervous.

AK used to have Enjoy Life products at almost every CS location. Is that not still the case?

Have not seen any enjoy life products and have not been offered them. The plan was to do the chicken but that bay was closed.

Aoa is by far the best we hsve seen so far. You should be fine.

I am feeling pretty ok about AoA and I've asked to have a chef from there call me so we can discuss meal options (I'm wondering just what is safe since they've got a unique menu including different fries from everybody else and maybe the breads are milk and nut free so DD11 won't have to eat the gluten free stuff if we're lucky but I know we'll be taken care of there). I'm sure that part will be fine and we'll likely be eating half our meals at the resort. I am nervous about the park dining though. Even the woman who called me from Special Diets yesterday said that they can't give out info on in-park dining. This just is not giving me a warm fuzzy if you know what I mean.

They had the whole bay closed? You couldn't even order the chicken? What time of day was this? I didn't think they did that. I know the ribs are only availalbe after 4:00 but I thought that the menu was pretty standard other than that regardless of time of day and time of year. Ugh! This just gets better and better. NOT!! What do they do if you have a dining plan but they don't offer a single dessert that you can safely eat? My kids will not be happy getting a bottle of water instead of dessert and I won't be happy having to then go buy something else at another location after having used a dining credit for a meal. Breathe...... I'm sure it'll be fine. If we end up having to go buy a frozen treat elsewhere then that's just what we'll do. It's a small thing in the grand scheme of things, though you'd better believe I'll be sending feedback to both Special Diets and Guest Services if it comes down to that.

It sounds as though maybe there is another active effort going on to change up suppliers again but that they're transitioning stuff out before they have the new suppliers in place. Hopefully that's what's going on and they get this straightened out soon.
