Movie/Meal: Only one per FAMILY?!

Question for you smart folk: If you score more than ONE movie/meal Entertainment coupons, can you use one per person?

Has anyone done this, or do they say, "only one per group" or something like that?

I redeemed three Movie & Meal coupons last night with no questions asked and no hassles.

We did not use the movie coupons, and were told they are good for any show, any time, and do not expire.

These coupons can be found by purchasing them here at the main site http://www.entertainment.com/discount/home.shtml. You will receive a book with multiple discounts based on the city you pick. I don't believe the Universal coupons are in every state's book. I guess the Orlando edition is the one to pick. You may also purchase at ebay by choosing the movie and meal deal coupon.

Make sure you get the 2006 book. We have 14 coupons. Free dinner every night. These coupons expire at the end of December, but as I hear the actual meal and movie vouchers you receive do not expire for a number of years. Go through the old threads, there's is one that explains everything in detail includung menus.

When are you going? For some reason, I thought you weren't going until 2007. If I'm right, you need to know that these coupons have an expiration date on them - 12/31/06. Sorry if I'm mistaken!

Thanks for the concern, we are actually going to be in FL for a vacation Dec 2006. At that time, we are not going to any Universal parks, but thought that perhaps we would go to Citywalk for an introduction to Universal (from reading this board as well as the offical Universal web site, we are psyched to say the least) and then do another trip to the Universal theme parks in 2007.

I just came up with the city walk idea last night, wish I had thought about it before when the 2006 entertainment books were still avail. I went on the web site and it looks like they are all sold out.

I think if you go after 6 p.m. you don't have to pay for parking. Also, try ebay. They have a lot of these for sale (at varying prices). Good luck!

I just had an incredibly kind DISer pm me and offer to mail me one of these coupons .
I have been on DIS since mid 2004 and it still amazes me, the incredible kindness of DIS members. I feel so fortunate to be part of such an amazing community.

Thanks for the tip about ebay. I have looked there, but it doesn't look like a lot of the sellers will ship to Canada. I might start a brand new thread here on the Universal board, asking if anyone has any they want to sell. I did mention it on another post, but starting a new thread, perhaps more DISers would have the opportunity to read it.

One other option (which I did), when you look on ebay, don't just look at the Meal and a Movie coupons. You can also look at the Entertainment Books. Just make sure you read the item description carefully, because some of the sellers are tearing out the Universal coupons and selling them separately.

In my case, I emailed them to specifically ask if all the Universal coupons were still in the book and would they be willing to adjust their shipping since that page was all that I wanted (telling them that they were more than welcome to relist the book if they wanted). I got a couple that way, and it was significantly cheaper than the prices for the Movie and a Meal coupon listings.

My first post here although I read regurarly. Just thought I would share an e-bay deal I found for these coupons. There is a seller adverting never used metro detroit coupons sheets. She has about 90 and she still has the universal coupons.

I bought two whole books before she started offering the sheets alone for sale. She will combine shipping. I ended up buying 10 sheets (including the two whole books) and paid about $3.30 sheet with shipping included.

Much, much cheaper than the people advertising the coupons alone. Now if only I could find one of the two for one coupons for the PFB Italian place I'd be all set for our October trip.
