Movie Madness

Loved, loved, Ironman. Now I can't wait for Indiana Jones. Also looking forward to Wall-E. It looks really cute. I was a true Speed Racer fan as a little girl so I am really on the wire about the movie. The local critics didn't like it at all ( and I think ther opinion stinks anyway) so I am looking forward to seeing the movie as soon as I can.popcorn::

Ooo, Sex and the City movie! Marrying Big!

I cannot wait for Sex in the City to come out!!!! I get chills every time I see the previews. popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: And DH will be coming with me whether he likes it or not! ;)

Iron Man was great. I actually thought it was going to stink but was pleasantly surprised.

DD and I are definitely going to see Mamma Mia. We saw the preview when we went to see "Made of Honor" (DD loves McDreamy) :lovestruc
and it looks like it is going to be fantastic! :thumbsup2

and luckily no one in our house wants to see Speed Racer.:thumbsup2

You know, after watching the trailer, I have to see Mamma Mia too...I'll just have to wear earplugs.

popcorn::Started my movie madness with Iron Man last week in Orlando. It's so good. The fab theater helped. It's full of plot twists from the comics. They left it open for a part 2. Robert Downey Jr. was a great choice.
Next on my list is Indiana Jones. Saw Harrison Ford on Leno and he's looking good for an old guy.(I'm old I can say that:) While watching the room TV @ SS they said he fit right back into his Indie costume without alterations. Geez, that alone is amazing.:happytv:

Speed Racer looks good too. I'll have to see that with my race car driver son:woohoo:

amyhughes - do you have any girls - I am dying to know what you named them/would have named your kids if you had girls!!!!

I have no clue when most of these movies come out in the UK, although I don't think all of them are coming here, since I've heard nothing about Mamma Mia, however Iron Man and Indiana Jones are either out, or coming out soon, and I'll probably see them both. I'm week by week educating myself on the Indiana Jones movies as I had never seen one until Sunday. Thank god for the BBC showing them on sunday evenings :thumbsup2

I saw trailers for Momma Mia when i went to see The Other Boleyn girl ages ago, so yes it is comming out in the UK. and yes I AM GOING TO SEE IT!:cool1:

Just got back from Speed Racer. It wasn't as bad as I feared. It was a bit long, but well done and great special effect. Overall I'd give it 3 1/2 stars (of 5).

John, I am totally outnumbered! I am the only female aside from our two dogs...One of which is named Tinkerbell, so I got a sort of revenge. Everytime DH walks her into the vet's he has to say, "Here is Tinkerbell Hughes for her appointment." He never has blushed so bad.

Parker was going to be Parker either way. We justified it with the argument of Parker Posey. :) But had Thomas been a girl he would be wearing the nametag Anna, which is Rogue's real name from X-Men. Though we would have stopped short of the full Anna Marie. He would have been Anna Norah after DH's grandma.

Thanks for asking! :goodvibes I just turned to DH and said, "OK, now I want a girl." :lmao:

We are going to see Sex in the City the day it comes out. We leave for Disney the day after.:cool1:

Ladies, this might work for you. My husband will go with me because he likes to see Kristen Davis.

DH and I had date night last night. Delicious steak dinner and a movie.

Saw "What Happens in Vegas" with Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz. Not a chick flick at all and was very funny.

I just saw Speed Race on saturday .It was awesome. I felt like I was on a wild Roller Coaster ride in the Mach 5. I am looking foward to seeing the new Indiana Jones Movie and Wall.E.
