I am so glad that I have a place like this, where I know you will all understand and be happy with me, to share this kind of news!
We went to WDW last March (2006) and had planned to go back in October or maybe early Dec 2007. My Dh was casually chatting about it one night when we were watching a Disney show on the Travel Channel and he says he thinks we should go back this Spring (after peak time).
Well that's it. Now I'm in full blown let's plan this trip right now, mode.
THEN it turns out, our niece, who lives in Florida (we're in PA) is getting married on 4/15, which is the last day of peak season. We were going to fly down for her wedding anyway, so now we think we'll go to her wedding, then on Monday 4/16, go to WDW and stay for a week .
I'm so excited, I could pee my pants. LOL. Seriously, it was low on my radar since it's right before the holidays (so much going on) and we weren't going until *next* year. Now it's just a few months away! Last year, in January, we spontaneously planned an early March trip, which was fun, but also took away all those months of planning and getting excited, if that makes any sense. I now want to FULLY enjoy all the planning stages between now and mid-April!
I even looked up air fare and it was in the low 200s, which is really good. I couldn't be happier. I just need to get my Annual Pass renewed in March and hope there are some AP rates out for April *soon* so I can snag one! I might go ahead and book using AAA rates, then switch to the AP rates when they are available. I also saw something about a free dining promo, but I have no clue what that entails! Does anyone know? I probably need to find the right board to ask about that.
