We refinanced our house last year (had an arm went to a fixed with less years to pay, again...woohoo!). Anyhow we went through mypoints and lendingtree. We closed last September, but I forgot all about mypoints! I remembered last month and wrote them an email stating that I hadn't received my points for refinancing with Lending tree. So they wrote back that they would look into it! I got an email this morning telling me that I now had 10,000 points deposited in my account! yay! This will so help with our trip to Florida in April between gas cards and restaurant gift cards:)

Great for you! The rewards sites are great, aren't they? I returned last week from WDW and I had almost $500.00 of Disney Dollars, Disney GC, and a Visa Reward Card, all earned through reward sites. I didn't have have to pay anything OOP, including food. Now, I'm at work again for our September trip, but I'll have to have more. DH will be with us this time!

What sites do you use for rewards?? I just started with ebates. I normally just use mypoints.

What is this mypoints? How does it work? Never heard of this before.

Those were from Cash Duck, Quick Rewards, Sunshine Rewards and Fairway Cash. Ebates is good too if you do a lot of online shopping. I have $25 over there from referrals but can't cash out until I hit $5 in rebates. It'll take me awhile to do that.

I like mypoints so much more than SR. I have been racking up the points with MYPOINTs and I havent bought a darn thing in order to do it:cool1:

I'm going to move this over to the Rewards Forum but before I do, I just want to remind everyone that the DIS has a NO REFERRALS policy. This means that you cannot offer a referral or ask for one and you cannot post referral links in a post or in your signature.

I finally saved enough points to buy an Olive Garden GC! I'm so excited!! :yay: I know....I have no life!

Anyway I bought a few things from Newegg through their site (electronics for Christmas) and never got credited. Not even under the "points pending" column. Isn't that the whole point of going through their site is so THEY keep track of it? Shouldn't they have a record of this? I always double check reward sites before purchasing on line so I am positive I went through MYPOINTS.

Oh well, unfortunately I'm not willing to write or call them for a few points, or do you think there is still a chance of the points showing up? :confused3

Otherwise I do love reward sites, it's like getting a little bit back. I also use my airlines FF miles program alot too and love free FF miles. That's how I get to WDW!!

Have a good one! :)

My experience with mypoints is that I always have to contact(e-mail) them to credit my shopping points. Once I contact them, they are very good about giving the points. But, it is never automatic. That is why I only do e-mails and surveys on mypoints.

I have never had a problem with points crediting automatically when shopping through MyPoints and have not had to contact them for this. You just have to make sure that you clear your cookies before clicking their links for shopping. Within a day after shopping through their link, I can see under "My Account" that it has the date, site name, and "shopping" next to it. Most of my shopping credits appear under My Account within 3 days (of coursse, they are shown as pending), and when you click "See Realted Transactions", it links back to the initial listing that I mentioned earlier.

The only time I had to contact them was when WebCertificates were still offered and I cashed out for 2, but never received them. It had turned out that they were discontinued the same day that I had ordered them, so they recredited the points to my account.

Thanks for the advice. I do my shopping on sunshine rewards and ebates, so I am aware of the cookies thing. And I have very few problems with getting credit on those 2 sites. There is just something about mypoints that I can't get things to credit automatically(and I have read enough on this forum to know I am not the only one). It's no big deal to me. I would rather cash out for disney gift cards, check or paypal anyway. Which mypoints does not offer. But, I'll continue clicking my e-mails. In less than a year, I was able to cash out for a $25 olive garden gift card and am almost ready to cash out for another.

I got a jc penny gift cert can I use it on mypoints and get points?

That's fabulous!

My experience with mypoints has been that all but ONE shopping experience, or sign-up experience, I have had to remind them to credit me. They have ALWAYS credited me almost immediately after I remind them, but still, it's annoying.

That said, the only shopping and/or signups I do through them is what isn't available on sunshine. :)

stahshee, that sort of thing is up to the vendor. I've had good luck getting credit (using sunshine, but since it's up to the vendor that really is neither here nor there) while using gift cards, but I've never shopped through jcpenney's online using a gift card.

Well, I just used mypoints for gas cards ($75 worth!) and a $25 Olive Garden Card:) These will be used on our drive down to Florida in April!
