Mousketeer question

Trying to put together our costumes for MNSSHP. DH and I are going to be Annette and Cubby. I know I'll need to short sleeve white turtle necks (I'm sure THAT'LL be easy to find ) and we have the iron on's for the names. But what color should the skirt and pants be? I also know I'll need black Mary JAnes with those awful white frilly ankle socks.

For the white turtle neck I would suggest just buying a regular long sleave turtle neck, cutting off the sleeves at your desired length and then hemming the sleaves. Anyone can do a basic stich, it shouldn't be that hard to do, and it certainly would be easier than tracking down a short sleave white turtleneck!

If I remember correctly, the pants and pleated skirts the Mouseketeers wore were light blue.
