Mouseshoppe or DL merch when buying headbands?

I was wondering if anyone bought their headband direct from DL merch. I will be getting it shipped to Canada and I'm not sure what they charge for shipping, but I know mouseshoppe bumps their prices a bit (I know I"m being cheap but I'm going to have to pay major tax and duty fees on the declaired merch amount). Are their any other options for buying these? I've looked on ebay but have neer found them for auction.
If anyone on the board has the headband, or headband and tophat with ears, please let me know as I would love to buy them. Thanks!

I got my headband from DisneyLand, if I remember correctly the shipping wasn't outrageous. It did take a couple of weeks to get to me though, I didn't have it overnighted though it came just standard ground. I would call DL and find out how much they charge for shipping for it!!

I'm in Pennsylvania, so I don't know what your shipping would be. I ordered mine from Disneyland; the shipping was $5.95, standard. The ears were $24.00, and they were here in less than two weeks, which was neat.

I'll also be ordering them from Canada for my sisters wedding. I'd like to know about shipping costs too, I'll post if I find out.

Definitely, go with DL merch (aka Disney DelivEARS). Mouseshoppe is just a small company that is an internet based personal shopping service. They're in Anaheim, they buy their stuff from Disneyland. When DL runs out of headbands, so does Mouseshoppe within a couple of days....when the headbands are back in stock at DL, surprise--so rings true at Mouseshoppe.

I just don't see the point in paying a middle-man a marked-up price for something I can get direct; but hey that's just me. There are those out there who swear by Mouseshoppe. To each his own.

Disney DelivEARS ships via UPS which is why the shipping can "take longer" but also "costs less". How long it takes for you to receive your package depends on how far you are from Anaheim, CA based on UPS zones.

I wanted to let the Canadian brides know about ordering from Disney DelivEARS. I just ordered the headband and groom hat. THe head band is $24 and the groom hat $10. The cheapest shipping is UPS ground at $15.95 (10-14 business days, but I expect it to take a little longer).
Total came to $49.95 and then I'm going to have to pay the customs and taxes on this end. Anyone pay taxes on a UPS delivery? Do you pay cash or credit? I've never done that before. Thanks and I hope this helps others.

Thanks that does help. Last time I paid customs I received an invoice on the package and mailed payment...CC# was an option. That was Canada Post and a couple of years ago, I don't know if that's changed. A quick call to UPS will clear it up though.

Please let us know how it worked and how much you paid at your end when they arrive.

That would be great news, where did you hear that at? Would save us the extra expense of having them ship to Canada.

On the Disneymooner board someone posted that her roommate had brought home the bride headband from WDW. That's all the info I have, folks, and we all know how reliable someone's roommate can be... sorry.
