i booked a reservation online at the royal plaza hotel through mousesavers.com. I have emailed Mary there, but from what i've read on mousesavers- it appears she may not respond to my request. I have called the hotel and they wont help me because i booked through mousesavers. I must cancel this reservation. There have been unfortunate events that have caused us to change our disney trip. does anyone have any clue on how to cancel? I thought i was just using a mousesavers rate, but booking directly through the hotel..thanks so much for your advice.
 
You should have gotten an email with a reservation number and information on how to cancel. Look in your spam. Then go back to the Royal Plaza site click on Modify/cancel and plug in your info.

Cancellation Policy
Reservations can be cancelled up to 4 pm, 72 hours prior to your arrival date with no penalty. After that, all cancellations will forfeit their deposit of one nights room and tax.

As long as it's within 72 hrs you should be fine.
 
You did book directly with the hotel. Mousesavers doesn't do reservations... they link you to the hotel website with the mousesavers code in the discount box. Call the hotel and cancel it. Don't even mention Mousesavers.
