Mousekeeping????

What are the envelopes for mousekeeping I keep hearing about? Can anyone tell me what this is about? We are planning our very first trip in Dec. DS8 and DD9. I am looking for ways to make this trip extra magical for them. Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Some people (such as myself) decorate envelopes to leave for their "Mousekeepers" with their tip inside.

I made a different envelope for each day.

I went to Michaels Crafts and bought Disney Stickers to decorate the envelopes with.

Great idea! By the way, how much do you usually leave per day for mousekeeping? We are staying 2 people per room at AKL, not sure what the rate should be.

The going rate is $1.00 per person per day. We have 4 people and leave $5 each day. You should always leave a tip daily, not at the end of your trip, because you could have different mousekeepers each day.

We were a family of 4 and did leave $5.00 every day for Mousekeeping....I decided to decorate envelopes with my little ones for Mousekeeping...Our Mousekeeper Maria loved them!!
