Mousekeeping Question

We'll be staying on cash one night followed by three nights on points - how does mousekeeping work on this schedule? Do we just get trash & towels on the fourth day - or do we get a full cleaning after the cash night, but before the points days? We've never done a cash night in conjunction with a stay on points.

Is it DVC member cash or CRO? If it's DVC member cash, your stay is combined, your cash night would be day 1. For example, we did cash on Friday & Saturday nights, then points Sunday to Thursday nights. We got trash & towel on Monday. If it's CRO, you will get a full cleaning on your second day.

You will get Mousekeeping services on the morning after your cash night, just like you would get if you were paying cash in any hotel. If you have 3 nights on points after that, there will be no trash and towel, since you are supposed to get it on the day of your check out.

Not if the cash night was through member services. You only get a full cleaning if it was a CRO reservation.

If it was a member cash reservation, you only have to check-in once. If it was a CRO reservation, then you have to check back in again the next morning and get new keys.

You get one T&T day however you can change the day to any you want.

I have just booked a stay at BWV with a mix of points and cash. The person at member services who took my booking was unsure whether I needed to re-check-in. She told me to double-check with the front desk when I get there.

If you booked the cash night(s) through member services it should be combined as one stay. They should give you keys when you first check-in for the entire stay. Housekeeping is based on the combined stay.

We paid cash for 2 nights then used points for 5 nights at HH before and got full cleanings for the cash nights, then T & T in the middle of our stay.

For cash nights through MS it should be one stay as noted. I believe you have to check in again between CRO and DVC reservations though or if you change unit sizes even if you keep a portion of the same unit.
