Thank you so much for the link, I've been searching for it. Now I can get rid of those boring old plain envelopes I made up.

It'll be just DH & I this trip and it's standard for us to leave $5 per room for a tip.

There are 3 of us in each room, 2 rooms, 6 people and we tip $5 per room for daily mousekeeping and $2 per room for turndown service. For a week that adds up to $100 so I do them all ahead of time so it doesn't cut into my vacation money.

We usually let the kids make the envelopes using regular envelopes, glitter (with whatever cool designs they can think of), and stickers. We usually make a contest out of who can make the best envelope. it is like an annual event to do this before we go to Disney and we have so much fun. We usually tip $1 per person or $5 if we have 4 in the room or if the room is very messy.

I used the mouseforless envelopes when DH & I were there a couple weeks ago. I put it on the bathroom mirror the first day & the mousekeeper took it, but on the second day the envelope (and money) were still there when we came back to our room. :confused3 So, each day after that I left it on the pillow since I knew they would be making the bed & would be sure to see it!

We were at CSR in early August and we left $5 per envelope...two rooms, $10 a day. The first day I had put the envelopes on the bathroom counters in each room. They were still there when we returned. I (as goofypooh did) put them resting against the pillows on the beds the next morning. (as goofypooh said) They have to make up the beds. From then on, we had towel animals and personal thank you notes in each room from the mousekeeper. (although I think she writes them up ahead of time)
