Mousekeeping at Poly Studio Villas?

We are heading to the Poly in 5 short days (well, we don't check in until next Saturday, but we leave to start driving on Thursday)! Anyway, my sister and her family will be joining us at the Poly but the only room I could get them was a Studio in the DVC section of the Poly (I don't know the official term - I don't think its called a villa, but not a regular Poly room). They are not DVC member nor did we rent points - just booked the room direct with cash money. What will their mousekeeping situation be? My sister was asking me tonight if they needed to bring trash bags, etc and I told her I didn't think so.

Could someone please enlighten me on what they should expect? They are a family of 6 (2A, 3C, 1 baby) and will definitely need towels and toiletries daily!

If you are booked on cash via Disney, you receive daily housekeeping.

I think because they are staying on a cash reservation, they should be receiving daily housekeeping. If they don't they need to call housekeeping and get what they need daily.

I always bring a couple of trash bags with me just in case housekeeping skips us. It came in handy a couple of times when we ordered pizza - we could just put the boxes in a trash bag instead of laying next to the tiny trash cans in the room. And with a baby it would help with the diaper situation - a place to toss them that you can seal up if needed. Maybe even bring those tiny trash bags that fit in tiny garbage cans that can be sealed when you put the dirty diaper in them and then put in a larger trash bag. I bet that would cut down on the diaper smell. Just my .02 cents.......

There is a difference between DVC cash reservation and DRC (Disney Reservation Center) cash reservation. Cash through DRC always has daily full housekeeping. Cash through DVC is treated just like a DVC points reservation.

A family of six will feel a bit tight in a DVC studio.
