Mousekeeping + Advanced Cleaning Requests

Has anyone ever called ahead prior to their trip to have Mousekeeping wash their bed sheets with a less harsh detergent? Last time my daughter broke out in a rash after the first night and we called and they happily obliged. I wanted to avoid a similar issue this time around if possible.

I've never done that but I did think of one bump in the road with that request. If your assigned room isn't to your liking (location or something), your sheets in the new room would then have to be washed. Or you could stay in the not so great room with the new sheets.

Would they possibly go ahead and prewash the sheets, but have them set aside somewhere so you could call right when you get in the room for them to come and change them out? Just a thought.

If it's that important, I would take my own sheets. Even if you make the request, how would you know ahead of time whether or not the request actually had been honored (too late after sleeping on the sheets one night)?
