Mousefest 2008

I'm bringing a group of people to the Fort and plan on doing some Mousefest Events...anyone else going this year????

Mousefest is an annual event that takes place in Early Dec. It's an International gathering of "MOUSEFANS" who get together to have fun and play games all over the 4 parks! Pin trade, Rides, Dinners, Scavenger Hunts, Hidden Mickey Tours to name a few...you can see past events at Mousefest.org. This will be the second year for me and another friend and we are bringing 2 others....then staying the rest of the week for park hopping...we won't do all the events as 2 of our group are Disney Newbies!!! We had people from as far as France and Australia!!! Kewl prizes...fun people!!!

I'll be at Mousefest!!!!

Mousefest is a gathering of any and all Disney internet groups. It is headed up by Deb Wills (allearsnet.com), Dave and Jennifer Marx (Passporter).

There is MegaMouse Meet, generally on Saturday, which is basically a trade-show for Unnoficial Disney authors, webmasters, podcast hosts, etc. Lots of goodies given away and some pretty decent door prizes.

The week starts of with a some folks going on a Disney Cruise, then lots of mini meets throughout the weekend at the Disney Parks, usually kicked off by gathering for fireworks at the Thursday night MVMCP.

I haven't gone to the MegaMouse Meet the last couple of years, just too big for me. But I do go the week of Mousefest to reconnect with very good friends I've met over the last 11 years

uh huh uh huh!!! It's big fun...we loved the scavenger hunts and hidden Mickey tour a lot!!! Can't wait to see what comes up next!!!!

Which week is mousefest this year? We left the day it started last year.

Land events start Dec. 11th...and it goes until Monday the 15th....not set on doing all events....but look forward to playing some!!! Just makes an already fun trip even more fun!!!!

Thanks the 11th will be our last day in the parks. We pull out the next morning.
