1. Are there many users on these boards?

2. Is it a useful application when visiting the park?

I've been using it since last year. It's helpful when in the parks and out of the parks!!!

Hi!

We use it--more than we expected to!! It is nice to do a little planning on the drive over to the Park. The wait times can be off, but since those times are supplied by users, everyone isn't totally accurate. You can gauge how busy the Park is in advance by the wait times, get an idea of the closures, and get the weather before leaving the house.

As a free app it is great, if we were paying I would want more and better!

I love it. It's useful while you're in the parks, and it's a useful planning tool for when you're not. And as someone mentioned - it's free so there's very little risk in downloading it to see if it's for you. :)

I am pretty sure they create an average out of all of the times submitted for each ride. Last year we got in line for Splash after we saw that the wait was supposedly 15 minutes according to MW. When we got there, the time posted in line was 5 minutes so I updated MW, and it quickly switched to 10 minutes.

Hi!

That is correct-they do average, but sometimes the posted wait time is really off. Showing 10 minutes, but it is really 30. Or showing 45 and it is 10 or less! But there a lot of factors in play here, so for the most part it is more helpful than not.

I LOVE it when we post our wait time and it corrects! POWER!!POWER!!!:lmao:

I see...that's interesting. You probably go far more frequently than we do, which is once a year. So I have used the app a grand total of one time (trip = 4 days) in the park.

I'm curious to know...you said if you were paying for the app you'd want more / better. What would you like to see included? I've downloaded / used a few different similar type apps and this is by far my favorite. I PAID for Walkee and found MW to be much better. In fact, two Walkee updates ago, I opened it up and found the word "dinning" all over the application. I was so irritated that I wrote them and told them that if I'm going to pay for an app, I expect someone to proofread it. :rotfl: They guy was so mortified that he wrote me back personally and apologized, sent me a refund, and then asked me to proofread the rest of the app for any other errors. :lmao:

My only gripe about MW, and it's a small one, is that many times they hype some new feature on the opening greeting popup, and then it's buried beneath some tab / sub-tab / sub-sub-tab and I can't find it. It could be laid out a little more intuitively.

You may have only used it for one trip, but you hit the nail on the head, it isn't very well laid out. But again, free is free!!

If I were running it I would make it more accurate, and less crazy (sometimes the DCA info is listed in the Disneyland slot and vice versa!).

Also basic info on whether M&F is full, Pumbaa is open, parking info in general.

Reminders of specials like the extra AP discounts that have been extended (once or twice).

Wait times at dining establishments would be great too.

Whether FPs are still available for WoC, that would be nice, and for which showing.

And FP information in general, whether they are still available.

If they could make this app my own personal trip planner I would LOVE it!! A Ridemax/Mike sort of thing--plug in the things I want to do that trip, and my ETA, and viola--a plan!!

I have downloaded MouseWait and I also purchased the eTicket app. Has anyone out there used the eTicket app? pirate:

I love, love, love the Mousewait App! I even check it at home when I am missing DL. "Look Honey - Pirates is only a 5 minute line!" Hubby - "Ummm...we are not even close to DL, give it a rest" :rotfl: I pull it out towards the end of the ride if I can and check to see what has a good wait time and head there next. Sometimes the times listed are off, but I have never waited longer than I expected and that's a perk!

Being a WDW vet, I use the regular WDW wait times app and got the DL version. I found that it was very accurate and free, but did notice more DL guests using Mouse Wait. It also has a feature telling you where you can easily charge your iPhone. :thumbsup2
