There is a mouse in my house and my cat is not earning his board. My cat is very upset that he's an indoor pet. He pines after birds, squirrels, bunnies, etc and has to settle for the occasional spider or fly. He has come close to eating dd's gerbil we thought but I guess he never really can catch the thing. DH saw cat staring in the bathroom. He shook a robe hanging on a hook and out dropped a mouse the cat chased him but he got away. Last night we found where he was hiding he ran right past the cat. The cat chased but the mouse got away again. The cat has been going from place to place in the living room hearing the mouse but not finding it.
So the score so far is mouse 4 cat 0. I'm really hoping he catches it in the next day or two before we end up with an exterminator.
