Mouse Ears?

Okay, here's a question for the experts... I have gotten mouse ears embroidered on Main Street, but the next time we go will be on our OMDD trip. As part of the prize, we get a $500 DTD shopping spree. I would like to get new ears for all the little people in our group, but would rather get them in DTD as part of the shopping spree. Does anyone know if World of Disney sells and embroiders ears?

That's where we got ours!! :) Big selection there! We got them on our first night in, then we went to the parks the next day. It was nice having the mickey ears already with the kid's names on them for pics in the parks! :D

Oh, that's awesome. Thanks. You don't by any chance remember how much you paid for your ears, do you? It's been 2 years since I bought a pair. I remember them not being heinously expensive...

I think it depends on the style, but they range from $13-20 per ears hat. There is basic embroidery and fancy embroidery too.

We will arrives at afternoon and plan to go to DTD... This will be a great gift to our girls on the first day of our vaca
Thanks!!!

I bought mouse ears for my two boys at The Mad Hatter. We opted for the traditional black mouse ears embrordered with the gold thread. My brother bought his girlfriend pink with black ears. I was describing this color of pink to my Mom, and she told me that shade is called "Celebrity Pink". So pretty!

I have bought ears and hats at the Mad Hatter. That's actually where I bought my son's first pair of ears 2 years ago. But, I am trying to come up with things I can buy at World of Disney with the $500 I am getting, so I can save the other $1000 for food and other things within the gates of Disneyland. I will also be going to the Pin Traders in DTD to get a new lanyard for me, rather than getting it from DL or online.

Okay, another DTD shopping question... Can you get autograph books in World of Color? I can't find my daughter's Princess DL autograph book, and may need to buy another (plus one for the little girls we are traveling with).

Thanks.

And yes.

$500 shopping spree! Wow! That's my kind of prize! A few thoughts for you on that. You may want to look at some of the pricer things in DtD (artwork, Fossil watches, etc... if that interests you) since you have a large amount to spend.

Second thought: In terms of, "Does DtD have...?" questions. Last year I did quite a bit of holiday shopping throughout DL for various people. I walked myself tired through NOS, Main Street, TL, and all the way over to CC. The last thing I needed was in World of Disney so I got it on my way out --- exhausted, schlepping various bags/boxes/etc, having navigated through crowds throughout the Park all afternoon. As I shopped in WoD for the one last thing, I saw EVERY item I had bought throughout the Park. - kill me now! -

Not everything is in there, but a LOT is! :)

Thanks for the info Dreams!

We went in to WoD the first time we went to DL with kids, and I remembered a few of the things we had seen in the park were there, but I just wasn't sure how much cross over there would be. The last time we went to DL, we just bought the things from the Emporium and Mad Hatter that we liked, and didn't even go to DTD. But, this time will be different, since I am trying to use the $500 in DTD for things that I could find in DL, and keep the $1000 DL gc for food, character meals, BBB for the two older girls, and things that are specific only to DL.

I also don't know if the shopping spree is something like a $500 GC that we can use whenever we want to, or if we are limited to one time use. I'm hoping it's a GC, so we can start out getting new lanyards, autograph books and mouse ears, then end the week getting the sweatshirts and hats we saw at the Emporium, but can get at WoD.

Here's another question for those of you in the know... Is the Christmas ornament store open in NOS again, or will it be in October, or is it gone forever? I know the year we were there in March it wasn't open, but I was able to find Christmas ornaments in a store on Main Street (can't remember the name, I'm sure someone here can tell me though). That's my thing- I don't do watches, or artwork (never had the money, who knows, might come home with art this time)- I buy a Christmas ornament or 3 when we are there. I believe my tree will be totally Disney-fied in the next couple of years!
