Mountain waves

For years I have admired a particular photo of the Blue Ridge Mountains shown as waves, like waves in the ocean. Recently I visited Asheville, North Carolina, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and Dan's Rock right here in my home state of Maryland!

I think I'm getting closer to that picture in my mind!

Locations: Pic 1 - Dan's Rock, MD; Pictures 2 and 3 - walkway at Clingman's Dome, NC/TN state line.

Never been to Dan's Rock but it sure looks worth a trip!
I have been to the Blue Ridge and Smokies plenty (but never enough) since they are only 4 hours away. Highest mountains in the East and very scenic.
