Mountain dew and cell phones do not mix

I carry a large purse for work. I have my water bottles, medicine and anything else possible that I might need.

Fruit cocktail and Cell phones dont mix either.

I had just finished my bowl of fruit cocktail (in light juice), I was sitting on my bed and my cell phone rang. I put the bowl on my bed, answered the phone and put the phone down on my bed when the call was over. Apparently I put the phone down too hard and it bounced into the bowl of juice I think it might be ok but it needs to dry out first.

you may be able to save it. I saved 2 phones. One went throught the wash cycle, one fell into a chlorine pool. I just used google to find out how to save the phone and it worked both times. It is something like --take the phone apart and run cool water over it do not turn on the phone until completely done. The put it in the oven at 140 degrees for 24 hours, or I also used a hair dryer. Put it back to together, charge it and then try it. nancy

Let me tell you, Nancy's trick WORKS! I posted 2 months ago when DH dropped my cell phone in a glass of OJ. Nancy posted the trick, and I figured I had nothing else to lose. I rinsed it, put it in the oven for only 3 hours (could tell it was dry), let it cool off, and VOILA! It works perfectly. The camera, everything on it is perfect. Nancy, YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!! (and DH loves you 'cause you saved him a ton of money!)
