Motorhome or Fifth Wheel?

I would rent a RV before buying. You’ll find plenty of used RVs too.

Old thread resurrected. But I will say that RVs aren’t really a safe travel method for anyone that isn’t buckled into the front seat, especially with small children because there is no where to secure a car seat. The seat belts on couches, chairs or dinettes aren’t secured to the vehicle frame and are useless in a crash. Look up RV crash test videos on YouTube and you won’t want to risk riding in one. We bought a travel trailer instead so that everyone travels as safely as possible.
