I’m looking for ideas about what to do staying on property with a motorcycle late September If a hurricane hits. Does Disney have indoor parking somewhere to keep my bike safe, or is there nearby indoor parking off property?
Animal Kingdom Lodge has a garage. I can't think of any other Disney resorts with a garage. Off-site, I am sure many have garages, like Bonnet Creek.
But, odds of hurricane damage at WDW are relatively small. Don't park near trees.
In Miami, whenever a tropical system is about to hit, parking garages are closed and security guards are posted to keep people out. I assume that's because of the potential liability.
This reminds me of something my ex husband did years ago. We were traveling by motorcycle and he rolled it inside the room. He was concerned about it being stolen.
You'll be fine. As a former 25 year resident living 15 minutes from WDW and having gone through four or five hurricanes, we never sustained any damage other than broken tree branches.
Thank you all for the responses. I emailed Disney to hear what they’re view is and they said they do not have a policy and that I should check with the front desk in the event.
I heard they moved vehicles out of fort wilderness but maybe that’s because of all the trees?
I guess I won’t worry about it. I’ll get a good tarp for my bike.
