Motley Fool - AK at 8am

In the latest Motley Fool article, he mentions he recently entered AK at 8am due to peak season. Is this a new opening time, or do you think he just happened to go on during EMH?

We just got back and AK opened at 8:00 AM. The hours were 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM from Apr.9-Apr.22 without EMH. During this 2 week period morning EMH was at 7:00 AM and evening EMH was 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM!!!! They extended the hours during the holiday/spring break period.

AK opens at 9:00 most of the year, but at the busiest times it opens at 8:00. Go to the disneyworld.com website and click on Calendar.

This is Disney's way of letting you know how busy the parks will be during your stay. The longer the parks are open, the busier it will be. When AK is 8:00-8:00, you know you're in trouble!
