Motivation needed: Please help!!

I have never been so UNmotivated.

We got back from WDW in June and I took hundreds of great photos that I just could not wait to scrap but then something happened to my momentum and I can't get it back. So far I've only done about eight character pages and that's it. I think I waited too long after we got back to get started. I was working on my daughter's "sweet 16" scrapbook and I wanted to finish it before starting a new book, which I did. Now I just can't get going.

I've tried all my old tricks, such as browsing all the scrapbook stores, looking at the disney pages on twopeas, putting all my stuff away and not even looking at it for a few days (now turning into a few weeks!), etc. Nothing seems to help.

Last year, I had my whole Disney trip scrapped in two months!

Are you trying to work in chronological order?
Usually if I am in a slump - i just have to find a GREAT picture where the layout comes easy to me and start there - then I am on a roll!

Have you tried just going through your pictures? That sometimes inspires me. Unfortunately, the best mmotivator to me is getting some done, then I want to do more. Kind of a catch 22.

Maybe you could invite a friend over to scrap with you you to get you going. There's nothing like scrapping with a friend!

How's this for motivation.... DH told me we are NOT going back to WDW until the 2002 and 2004 scrapbooks are completed!! .............................P

You know what helps me get motivated? Shopping!! Looking at all the new cool stuff ALWAYS does it for me. I'm a hoarder and haven't been sorry about that yet. Cuz I always seem to have just the right embellishment/paper/sticker/whatever to go with a layout.

I also scrap like PattyT. I pick a picture or set of pictures that I love and start there... the rest comes together.

I think we all go through slumps... hope you pull out of yours soon!!
