Motion sickness on 7DMR?

I'm a big baby, I freely admit to that, but I woukd really like to do the 7DMR. I've done Splash Mountain-once about 10 years ago. So now, with 50 quickly approaching I woukd like to tackle this ride, but I don't want to throw off the rest of my day . I'm worried if I take dramamine I'll get to dizzy. Also we have ressies at BOG ABOT 2 hours before that. Any thoughts?

I rode it just fine (without meds). It slows down a few times and isn't a very long ride. For reference I can do BTMR once (without motion sickness meds) and need about an hour to get my bearings afterward.
Have you tried Bonine? I can take that in the AM and ride all day.

I get motion sick and avoid plenty of rides but have no problem with 7DMT. The side to side sway is slight and it's a little coaster. I'll add that I also ride BIg Thunder and Splash with no problems.

You should be fine. It is not a wild ride at all. My DH who can get nauseous on the monrail got very nervous when he realized he forgot to take his bonine while we were in line for 7DMT. He rode it and laughed that he was nervous - the new technology is so smooth. He does need bonine to ride Splash, BTMRR, and Space. Maybe try taking bonine at home and see how it effects you. We find bonine to be gentler than dramamine.

I was fine on it. If you are good on the barnstormer, you should be fine on the 7DMT. (Plus-it is really short.)

I'm very prone to motion sickness and have no issues on 7DMT. If you want to eliminate some of the swinging, ask to sit in the front.

Another vote for Bonine here. That little chewable pill is my lifesaver at theme parks. I generally take two for the entire day and then never have a problem
(I can even ride the teacups!). I would recommend taking 1-2 tablets about 30 mins/1hour before you plan to ride anything (it helps to have food in your stomach) and go!

Another for Bonine! We use it every trip. I get sick on the plane too and it really helps. We can't get it here in Canada so I stock up whenever I'm in the U.S.!

I was soo afraid that I would have trouble, I purchased a little bottle of Motion Ease (you put two drops behind each ear) and used it each morning. I have no idea if it worked or if it didn't but I never had any trouble on any of the rides (we went on practically everything). I continued to do it each morning of the trip just because.

I agree with previous comments.. It's very smooth. I get terrible motion sickness and I can ride it with no trouble

Some of the tight turns started me spinning, but the turns ended just in time for it not to affect me. I can't do anything that spins and was okay on this one.
