I get motion sick very easy. Anything that spins, coasters, simulators (do mostly fine on Soarin), even in some of the dark rides just moving around in the dark can make me a bit queasy.
I thought I would try Mater's Junk Yard Jamboree as I figured it doesn't quite spin and it is short so if I do get sick it will be over quickly.
I was fine! It was quite fun. To short! :)
So for those of you who get motion sickness, while we all are affected differently, I would at least give it a try if it looks fun to you.

So glad you were able to ride and enjoy Mater's Junkyard Jamboree---Good for you!

It's a must-do for us each time we visit(and we also suffer from motion sickness, but have never experienced it on this particular attraction.)

We find it to be a lot of fun, as well!:thumbsup2

I get sick on the tea cups and Space, but I was fine on Mater's once I figured out how to watch the track and anticipate which way the tractor was going to fling us.

I don't do well on spinning rides, either, but I love Mater's. I think of it more as a "flinging" ride than a spinning ride. Besides, it has a high "wheeee!" factor.

Great! :) The first time I saw Mater's I didn't think it looked like much, but it is a much more fun ride than it appears. Glad you were able to ride!

Yea Mater's is a fun little ride and it is easy to get on with a 10 min wait or less. We do it several times in a trip and it never makes me dizzy. The one that really gets me at DCA is TSMM. The combination of 3-D glasses and the hurky jerky motion of the ride vehicles - yikes. I have to close my eyes when the vehicles are moving.
