Mother's Day

What special things do you do for Mother's Day while @ Disney?

We'll be there May 6-13th and would like to surprise my wife with either a special meal event, attraction, etc.

I did see however that the Mother's Day brunch @ Epcot was canelled this year ??

First of all you are a sweet husband for wanting to do something special for DW on Mothers Day!

We will be there over Mothers Day as well and I was just thinking how special it will be to celebrate mothers day with my kids at Disney World this year!

How old are your kids. Maybe you can have them make a special MD card and have the characters or her favorite character sign it. How about getting a picture of the kids while there and surprise her with it at lunch or dinner. The flower and garden festival is going on at Epcot so I am sure there will be some great MD gifts and great photo spots there. Maybe get a dinner or lunch ressie at Chefs de France or Le Cellier for MD ( if there is anything still available that day) or get a CS meal and find a great spot outdoors to eat maybe near the Japanese garden. It is really pretty and relaxing. Order room service for her for breakfast or make sure you get to MK early that day if it is in your plan and ride the carriage that takes you up Main Street to the castle. The barbershop courtet sings and the cast members wave at you with Mickey gloves on! Or heck she deserves it right? Do it all Have a great trip

We spent Mother's Day 2006 & 2007 in WDW. It was me, DH, & the kids (and for 2007, both sets of grandparents were with us as well).

We had great meals those days & had lots of fun in the parks.

I will tell you that what I hold most dear are the little gifts my kids & DH gave me on those days.....a special Mother's Day pin (that I still have on my lanyard) & a Tinkerbelle watch. I wear the watch every day.

It's funny that this thread would come up today as today my Mother's Day watch stopped running for the first time EVER. I'm sure it just needs a new battery though.
