Mother's Day Ideas at AK

Didn't know at the time it was Mother's Day. We'll be at AK with our 8 year old DD. Any ideas of something that at the very least, she could do with my wife that would be special? Or anything that night (since AK may be a park we would leave somewhat early)?

How about heading over to AKL and having dinner at Jiko?

As a mommy. I would love one of my favourite dinners and lounging at the resort. Maybe even a spa treatment! That's my plan for next Mother's Day

I would suggest going over and having dinner at Jiko or Boma. Yak & Yeti has great food but I think Boma and Jiko are better and less chaotic. Plus AKL is really beautiful. There are also tons of nice restaurants at DS should you want to go there.

Thanks for the ideas. We stayed at AKL a few years back and ate at Boma but didn't get to do Jiko. We have Y&Y lunch reservations.
