I am going to be in California for work during Mother's Day weekend, and was considering staying an extra day and doing Disneyland on Mother's Day. I looked at a couple of crowd calendars that are saying that it won't be that crowded. That doesn't make sense to me. I would think that it would be crazy crowded on Mother's Day. So who's been on Mother's Day before and can let me know what it would REALLY be like? THANK YOU!!

Mother's Day used to be fairly crowded, but there was more of a delay in the crowds than a typical Sunday. I haven't been a few years, but they used to hand out carnations when you enter. But now there is a half marathon on Sunday, which not only increases crowds but there will be road closures you have to work around to be there at park open. If it's the only day you can go, I'd still do it, but know what you're getting into.

This year mothers day weekend falls on the Tinkerbell run Disney event so that may affect crowd levels..
