Did anyone attend the Mother's Day brunch this past Mother's Day? Any reviews or feedback? My DD and I will be in WDW next year for Mother's Day. I am leaning towards a quiet breakfast at Boatwright's since I am dying to try the sweet potato pancakes. But I would like to hear about the Mother's Day brunch.

Did not attend the Mother's Day brunch but did attend the Easter one - go with the Boatwrights pancakes. They are excellent.

I just ate there for my 1st ever Mother's Day at the castle!

Although the theming was lovely - medieval theme with 4 colour schemes of: gold, silver, red & green, the food was very underwhelming. It takes place in the huge Special Event theater, with a strolling minstrel and photo ops with Aurora & Prince Philip and Belle & Beast. Lots of flower displays and lovely decorations all princess themed.

We were expecting more varied dishes and were a bit peeved that we had to pay $6.50 for a bottle of water (so many places are doing this now). I do have photos, but after just returning late last night from our 15 day WDW trip, I am totally overwhelmed with over 2,000 photos to work through. I'll try and post photos at some point, but they had food stations set up around the room: meat, pasta, waffles and dessert, and then long buffet tables with: salads, fruits, bread/pastry and breakfast foods.

We used 2 credits on our DXDP and tip was included. We are glad we tried it, but feel they can do a whole lot better in terms of the food selections.

Happy eating, Tiger :)

thanks for the responses. I think we will stick with Boatwrights, I really want to try those pancakes. :)
