Mother's Day at WDW

I was there on Mother's Day 2003 and they were handing out carnations to all the mom's as we came in at Epcot. My daughter had heard about a special Mother's Day Dinner at Cape May and booked it for us. It was priced a couple of dollars more than the regular dinner. Funny thing was it was just the regular seafood buffet, nothing different, which was fine with me - I love the food there. But it made my daughter a little mad. She called for a manager and asked what was different about the buffet and the manager with a perfectly straight face said "It's Mother's DAy" and walked away. My daughter came close to pitching a fit, but I calmed her down and told her how much I enjoyed the meal and it wasn't very much more anyway. She was mad though!
