I will be celebrating my first mother's day and my mom will be celebrating her first mother's day as grandmother this May. Does anyone know if a special brunch will be offered, and if so, when the details will be announced?

I'm guessing that it's still too early for anything to be definitive. They didn't have one last year but I am not sure about this year yet.

There was a brunch at Epcot yearly, but it was discontinued in 2009. No word about 2010 but I wouldn't count on it returning.

Bummer. I assumed that Disney would have multiple special offerings on the most popular day of the year to eat out. :sad2:

Yeah, it is disappointing, but there are tons of nice places to eat. We are going to Epcot for Mother's Day, and plan on eating breakfast with the princesses in Norway and dinner at Le Cellier.

Congrats on your first Mother's Day! What a great place to spend it! I'm excited to be at WDW for Mother's Day!

Thanks for the good wishes. Enjoy your mother's day! I think we might try Garden View Lounge for the tea. It's one of our favorites.

2yrs ago, we went to Disney as my mother's gift. We went to Boma for breakfast and it was wonderful. When you walk in they handed a rose to the ladies and had a Mother's Day center piece in the buffet. This year my husband said lets go to Disney for Mother's day. When I called up for reservation they said Chef Mickey has a Mother's Day Brunch but I opted to go to Brown Derby for lunch and my son wants to go to Hollywood and Vine character breakfast and then we will have dinner at Epcot. Congrats on your first Mother's Day. I love Tea time at the Grand.

Not that it'll help, but they also used to have an Easter brunch at Epcot. I went in 2008 and the food was mediocre at best. I would not ever have recommended the special brunches for the food. If you wanted to pay for the atmosphere, that would be something else.
