Mother/ Son dance

Laura, I'm sorry your DF and his mom don't have the greatest of relationships.

I can't imagine DBf dancing with his mother to a mother/son song only because I think it'll be hard enough to get him dancing for OUR song

It may seem like an odd suggestion, but what about Circle of Life? Its kind of fitting as she brought him into this world and now he's starting a family of his own with you...

My DW and her father danced to "What A Wonderful World". That was a really good choice and a good length as well. I danced with my Mom to "Through the Years" by Kenny Rogers. The memory is wonderful, but the song does go on for awhile longer than I had remembered. Something to consider. The length of the song.
