I need a clean but cheap motel in Syracuse for one night that is close to the airport. I would love it if they would also keep my vehicle for the time we are away & shuttle us to & from the airport!! I've done this in the past but of course, I now can not remember where we stayed!!

Any ideas?

I've stayed at the Red Roof Inn near Carrier Circle. Clean, cheap and nothing fancy.

They don't offer a shuttle to the airport, but I don't mind the fees at SYR.

I've stayed at the Red Roof Inn, although it was cheap I would never stay there again, all night long we heard the noise from the close by major highway, we heard the transports down shifting (I'm unsure if this is the correct term) all night long. PLus it certainly was NOT clean. It was summer so my toddler was wearing sandals in bare feet. He took his sandals off and was walking barefoot in the room, he climbed on the bed and his feet were black, solid black, I'm not talking a bit dirty but solid black, it was shoes on from that point forward.

We have stayed at both the Best Western on the airport property and at the Holiday Inn Express.

The Best Western I would not recommend as the walls are paper thin to the point of hearing people's conversations and waking up to their alarms. We did leave our car there for our trip and it was fine. It is really old and need a reno.

On our last trip we did the Holiday Inn Express and even left our car there for over two weeks. They have a shuttle to the airport. The shuttle service was fast and efficent. The hotel was clean, new and excellent service. The breakfast was even pretty good.

I am not sure of the price but I hope this helps you some.

Comfort inn and suites gets my vote! :thumbsup2 It includes parking, shuttle and a hot breakfast buffet. The one I would't recommend is the Best Western Syracuse Airport Inn. Very run down, and very noisy due to thin walls and vacationers coming and going at all hours. I find all the hotels that have shuttles and parking are getting pricey these days. :confused3

We always stay at the Holiday Inn Express- the rooms are clean, it includes breakfast and there is an indoor pool! :goodvibes

We were very happy with our stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites as well - rooms were older but in good shape, there was a nice breakfast in the morning, and the kids enjoyed the indoor pool for a swim when we arrived. The shuttle was fast and staff were very friendly.
