In your opinion, which Disney restaurant seems to be the most underrated?

People I know are skeptical about ESPN at the Boardwalk, but I think it's one of my favorite places.

Honestly I think Artist Point is underrated. You don't hear a lot about it on the boards, and it doesn't seem to be super crowded or hard to get ADRS, but the food/service is phenomenal!

I would agree with ESPN. The wings are the best! We try to go when it is not a big "game time" so it isn't quite so loud.

Spoodles! I think many folks order the less challenging dishes and don't realize what they could get by letting the chef prepare something special.

Restaurant Marrakesh is one of the best in WDW. Been there many times and have always had great food/service/entertainment. Maine :firefight

I've dined at Artist's Point twice, after the first time I swore I wouldn't go back, my food and service was positively deplorable.

I did go back and had an excellent meal. But I wouldn't say it's underrated.

ESPN, well, it's nothing special. Typical pub grub available at any TGIF/Ruby Tuesday/etc.

I'm a big Spoodles fan, but I've had fluctuating service there. Never bad, but a couple tiems barely OK.

Nope, the most overlooked and underrated is Yacht Club Galley. I had one of the best meals EVER there a few months back, and almost cancelled going to Citrico's to dine there instead a couple weeks ago.

I think Coral Reef is under-rated. I never hear much about it on the boards either - I don't know if that is because people don't like it, don't like seafood, think it's too expensive, or just haven't given it a try. Everything I have ever ordered there has been fantastic, and I just love the atmosphere - the big fishtanks are so cool! It's one of my DD and DH's (a non-Disney type) favorites, too!

For some strange reason most people don't consider the Concourse Steakhouse. It is not and does not try to be "upscale" and the prices are better than most of the other steakhouses on WDW. It is a three meal restaurant. I have never had a problem getting in, even as a walk-up.

As far as I'm concerned the only potential downside is if you are sitting very close to Chef Mickey's it can be noisy at times.

Kona Cafe I think is underrated. Again you don't hear much about it but we've always had great food and good service.

I'd agree about Kona Cafe....rarely talked about but good.
We also really enjoy Mama Melrose. It's certainly not the best at Disney...or even top 10...but I think the relatively large amount of so-so reviews this place gets are unfair. Always had a good meal and pleasureable time there! Decent prices, too.
And...Biergarten...but I'm a huge fan of German food!

We LOVE Mama Melsosa's! We go and love it everytime!

I agree about the Coral Reef. I hear a lot of negative comments about it (mostly that it is too expensive). We always enjoy our meal there and love watching the fish. I will agree that the service is usually pretty bad (very VERY slow) but the lobster bisque is worth the wait!!!

Tangerine Cafe in Morocco. I LOVE that place for lunch and almost never hear anyone comment on it.

I agree...Tangierine Cafe is our favorite counter service in WDW. We like the food there better than at Marakkesh. Much more flavor!

A year ago I would have said Kona Cafe is underrated, but it seems to have been discovered by many people lately. We always have breakfast there at least twice each trip, and we have had lunch and dinner there too. Always good food and friendly service at reasonable prices.

Last November we had surprisingly wonderful sandwiches at Starring Rolls in Studios. A nice selection, and everything we ordered was a winner. Nice outdoor seating too.

ITA. Concourse was the best surprise I've ever encountered at WDW. Everyone said "if you're looking for a good steak, go to Shula's or Yachtsman" - but honestly, Concourse put out a pretty mean steak. :)

Citricos in the GF! One of the best restaurants on property, in my opinion, but it rarely fills up. And it's hardly ever talked about here on the Dis either. Not sure why! :confused3

Happy to see the good things about Concourse, since we are trying it for the first time in October.
