Most Sentimental ride?

Hubby says Philharmagic and the Muppets. I say the Great Movie Ride and Splash Mountain.
Sentimental reasons.
Our son says Fantasmic.

Yeah, Wishes definitely gets me teary. Even now looking at the video I took of the castle show/wishes I get teary.
I'm sure the most sentimental might end up being Soarin since that was our very first Disney World ride.

The Great Movie Ride gets me every time.

And, it's not a ride but the opening music when The Main Street Electrical Parade starts gets me choked up. It was one of my favorite memories from childhood and when they brought it back I was thrilled. It's also my ringtone for my family members that share my love of WDW:love:

Great thread

Not a ride...but riding the monorail and seeing Cinderella's castle...tears everytime.

Not rides, but Cinderella's Castle and Illuminations will move me to tears.

The rides that make me happiest are POTC and HM. :goodvibes

Seeing the castle for the first time on our trip and watching Wishes or Illuminations gets me every time.

Peter Pan gets me because I think back when my dad took me to disney and that was our favorite ride and taking my children on it the first time last year oh boy I was a mess!! Loving all the replies :)

For me, it is Journey Into Imagination with Figment. The first memory I have of Walt Disney World is that ride. The first time I rode it, I was about 3 or 4. It makes me nostalgic. The last time I rode it was in 2009. I have always loved Figment. I have a plushie of him somewhere from the 80s.

Carrousel and people mover-taking in fantasyland and tomorrowland.

And the carousel of progress, bc I'm always so afraid it'll be the last time I can ride it.

The Carousel of Progress I rode at The worlds fair in 1965/1966 in NY. It was different then, but the same. It taked me back to elementary school and that class trip. There was a monorail and the Small World, but I was amazed by CoP!

I love that my family love it too!

The Railroad.. Sounds weird but let me explain. When we were younger my grandparents bought our family Disneyland tickets every year for Christmas. Whenever we went my mom would insist on riding the railroad around the whole park before we did any of the rides. I lost my mother when I was 14 yo, its been almost 16 years now and I still miss her daily.. When Im riding the railroad its almost like she is there with us. I know she would have loved to take her grandchildren on her lap and show them the wonders of Disney.

Which ride makes you seriously choke up?

POTC is very special to me! This was the first ride my sons ever rode in disney. This is ALWAYS our first ride of the trip! Now after 6 trips with them we have jokes at every turn! It really is special to us. But Im with alot of other PP wishes gets me a little teary and my first walk down main street of every trip is emotional for me!

I think its amazing how when you are in Disney there are so many stories like these. Everyone is there to make memories and some are reliving their childhood memories with their children now. Makes you appreciate what Disney is all about

Hearing Jiminy cricket before Wishes starts - gets me every time. And as much as I hate the teacups - it was the first ride my kids ever rode at Disneyworld. So the teacups make me misty. ( only at a distance though - because my kids are old enough now to make me sick on it. Lol)

It's a small world is special to me. I remember riding it with my parents over and over again, and now my children ask to do the same.
