My boyfriend and I are doing a mini Mon-Fri getaway in just over a week (last minute getaway due to a passing in the family).

I haven't been to WDW in 6 years, but he's never been. We're on the DDP and have four days. I have already snagged a dinner at 'Ohana, and a lunch at Le Cellier. So we can either do two more TS, or one Signature.

What would you suggest are A: The most romantic 1TS, and B: The most romantic Signature? I don't mind doing one Signature meal. The Signature restaurants I'm looking at are Narcoossee's, Artist Point, and Yachtsman Club - and the TS restaurants I'm looking at are Captain's Grille and Turf Club.

Any advice on those, and any suggestions on other TS restaurants that might be nice and romantic?

I would not recommend Narcossees. We have been twice and both times the food wasn't great. Not worth paying signature prices. We however liked Yatchman and we have never been to Artist point but lots of people here comment on how good it is. It's on our list of must do in August.

Sorry I can't help you on the other restaurants. we haven't tried it yet.

Of the signatures you have listed Artist Point has the potential to be the most romantic. Le Bistro in Epcot was the most romantic, IMO. The food is excellent also. Disclaimer: It may have changed this year. Our last visit was 12/30. They started accepting DDP on 1/1.

As this is basically asking for a restaurant recommendation and is only tangentally about the dining plan (all the WDW TS restaurants are now on the dining plan except Victoria & Albert's), moving to the main Restaurant board.

but we always order the lobster. I've never been dissappointed with this meal. We time it for MK fireworks. It's breathtaking to watch the fireworks while you are there.

This resort is a great place to walk around and hold hands and cuddle with one another at this resort. The outside and inside are good for this aspect.

Another option at the Grand Floridian is to eat at the Grand Floridian Cafe which is only 1 TS credit and walk over to the pier and watch the fireworks outside by the water. It's like in front of Narcoosee's where the pier is.

If you want to be in a park, Le Bistro would be my next choice.

The Royal Table at Cinderella's Castle in MK for dinner can be quite romantic, too especially if you get a window view.

Here's the thing at WDW: you can have a romantic restaurant. You can have a heavily themed restaurant. You can have a restaurant with really good food. But you can't have all three. And you'd be hardpressed to find one that had 2 out of 3.

I'd say the most romantic would be AP, Bistro, or Citricos (not on your list). The best food would probably be Yachtsman or Citricos. Cali Grill is too noisy and chaotic. Narcoossees (in our experience) can be noisy and has mediocre food, CRT is heavily themed but is neither romantic nor does it have decent food. Captains Grille and Turf Club serve decent food but I don't think would qualify as romantic.

Which ever one you choose, just remember that even a sandwich and coke on a park bench can be romantic if it's the right 2 people sharing them.:lovestruc

Artist Point was really good, we celebrated anniversary there and loved it.

Out of the signatures (and I've dined at all of them many times), I think the most romantic is Citricos. It also has the best food. Bistro used to be decent but I'm not sure what the dining plan has done to it since it's a pretty small dining area and can be noisy if crowded. Out of the 3 you specified, I'd probably pick Artist Point. The menu is a bit heavy for my taste but the restaurant is usually quiet, especially if you dine after 7:30.

The least romantic would be Narcoosees, Ca Grill, Brown Derby and Flying Fish. They are all pretty noisy with a hustle/bustle vibe to them. Narcoosees has the worst food out of the bunch; their lobster is quite underwhelming.

For non-signatures, I would rank Sanaa and Turf Club at the top of the list.

I'm excited you're having dinner at Ohana...I went with my husband for the first time last December fully expecting it to be a fun, but certainly not romantic meal. It ended up being both! It was dark outside and we had a quiet corner table by the window, overlooking the castle. After dinner we walked to the Grand Floridian (which was much needed after a meal at Ohana!) and spent some time there before heading to the MK to watch Wishes. It was one of the most enjoyable and romantic nights I've spent at Disney.

Have a GREAT time!

As tends to be the case more often than not, I agree with everything Pakey said.

Just to throw you a curve, OP, have you looked into Jiko at all? It's about on par with AP (especially if you can get a table in the Wine Room). The food and service has always been great. Plus, it gives you a chance to hang out and explore AKL, watch over the savannahs (with and without night vision goggles) and have a drink at Victoria Falls. You can easily make the whole night quite the romantic experience (you can also have a drink, watch out over the savannah, sit by the fire pit, etc. at Kidani, which is where Sanaa is).

Also, remember that romance is what you make of it. While some people think a quiet dinner with fantastic food is romantic (which it is), others might find a really good dinner at Flying Fish, a walk on the Boardwalk to watch some performers and a late night round of mini-golf at Fantasia Gardens just as romantic (which it also is, IMO).

Citricos!!! It is quiet, food is always good and the service is wonderful.

Yachtsman was okay for romantic feelings go.

However Tutto Italia (Not sig)is really really nice if you get the back room away from the main open dining area. Its like a small room with paintings and it is very quiet.
