Which crowd calendar do you think is the most reliable?? I have a subscription to touring plans but hear about others. which is most accurate?

I mostly use touring plans and kenny the pirate. Both are pretty good, but kenny the pirate might edge out in front a bit.

None are always right. I've used crowd calendars, and sometimes ignored their advice. I've never gone "Dang! The crowd calendar was right!! Should have gone to a different park!!". With FP and some planning, you will have a good time.

I usually compare multiple crowd calendars and have found that almost all of the time, they all predict about the same crowd levels. There really is no "best" crowd calendar out there. The information that these sites use to create these calendars is widely known and can be predicted by almost anyone with the right historical crowd data, holidays and other events that will affect those numbers. So just go with whoever you like, it's all the same.

Lately I have been referring to the weekly crowd prediction chart on Your First Visit dot Net.

I agree with what TeamEvansGo said. When you add in the fact that Disney actively works to get people into the parks during "quiet times" with events, incentives, and advertising it is increasingly difficult to both predict crowds and find that "quiet" week.

Sometimes the crowd calendars vary widely, though--I guess time will tell which are correct! For instance, I'm finding that the crowd calendar predictions for Jersey Week (first full week in November) are literally all over the place, from the half dozen or so I've checked so far. Some say crowds will be at low levels, while others have much of the week as super heavy crowds, and several are in between. I'm sure it will be awesome to be at WDW regardless, but it's interesting how much variation there is in predictions for that week.

Many of those with low predictions will change them later on as well. I don't change my predictions.

It's a toss up. You honestly just have to look at them all and use good judgement. If Disney adds an event or the weather gets unseasonably awesome or whatnot, that's going to change how people go, moreover the influx of "locals" that can make the numbers change without warning.

Also, keep in mind that what one person thinks is a 7/8 can be a 4/5 to another.

FWIW, from having been there before during the same week, and many friends who were there last year at that time (I feel like half the state of NJ goes to Disney for Jersey Week in early November), I agree that your predictions are definitely likely to be closer to reality than some others! I'm actually surprised, looking at the numbers from last year, and considering Marathon Weekend and the start of MVMCP that week, that some are predicting low crowds during that time.

They are all kind of the same, honestly. This is MY opinion based upon MY experience.

Touring Plans is pretty good, but they also seem to be slightly negative about Disney at times. I have also found that they estimate higher than necessary, so keep that in mind.

Your First Visit is pretty spot-on, but does not provide as much information as other sites.

EasyWDW used to be the best, but I do not believe Josh does the calendars anymore. If he does, that is my recommendation.

Kenny the Pirate is generally pretty close and has an easy to navigate website, but sometimes a little know-it-all and argumentative with people "in-the-know", even when wrong. His character locator cannot be beat though.

Carl Trent/Dad's Guide is awesome as well for information on how to save time and money.

WDW Prep School is from a team of old TGMers and they know their Disney, but they use old school methodology to predict.

Was I argumentative with you at some point? I don't recall.
