What are some of the most memorable things from your Disney trips? It can be something that happened to you, someone you know, or some random person you saw in the parks.

One of my most tear- jerking moments:

I was watching Wishes (my favorite fireworks show) and there was a little girl standing behind me and she was singing along really quietly. I thought it was the cutest things I had ever seen, and no one in my family but me noticed. I was thinking "man I wish I was young enough to do that... and I wish I had the voice to do that and not have people look at me weird." You could tell the girl was really happy to be there, and it reminded me of my trips from when I was younger. :sad1: /:)

everytime i go into disney and look up and see cinderella's castle, and then the trip becomes real for me.
when i was 4 and got picked to dance with belle in a parade.
and whenever you see a little kid mesmerized by the fireworks.
jeez, i sound corny.

Not at all, I agree. I love seeing the little girls in the princess dresses. Gosh when I grow up, either and I have girls or my sister does, they will have like every dress! I will make sure of that. Haha.

Riding Soarin' with my cousins last August.
Having Mary Poppins call me a princess.
Riding the skyway to tomorrowland only ... once. This was 10 years ago.
Seeing the Cake Castle. The first time I EVER saw the castle.

Calling Jessie by the fountain.

i'm glad to hear i'm not the only one!
i kind of feel bad for the kids in dresses, though. it would be awfully hot.
yeah, i'm with you, jaimie. the cake castle was rockin'. :]

Watching Spectromagic in my dads arms.
I was 13... buuuut I couldn't see!
=)

Okay I might sound weird lol. BUT!

When I was little I got called up by one of those toy soldiers from Toy Story to dance with him during the parade.
Then a couple years later Belle asked me to dance with her.
I guess this was because I was dancing ANYWAY in the crowd haha.

Then when we went to see the Huntch Back of Notre Dame he came up to me and was like "What's cookin' good lookin'?" I felt so special haha.

OH!
Then at Sea World one time this isn't Disney I guess but I got picked to be part of the Dolphin show. I had on the boots and everything and the trainer was my "Fake Mom" and she was gonna let me jump in with the dolphins...but they wouldn't let me lol. I was like DARN!

Memories!

-Being Princess of the Day at breakfast in Norway
-Having an autographed card from Cinderella (My favorite princess at the time) in my room when I checked in
-Standing on the steps of Mexico after Illuminations and waving "buenos noches" to everyone passing by

Not a fun memory, but memorable none the less
-Getting a chunk of wood stuck in my knee after running through a bush in the maze at the back of the UK. Then waiting at Urgent care for 6 hours, until 2 in the morning. (The wood was shaped like an arrow, only it went in with the wide side first, so the skin closed up around it. It was about 1/2" long) Then getting an incision and not being able to get wet for 5 days, and I was leaving in 4. In June.

For me it was the look on my daughters' faces when they spun around in the chair at BBB and saw their princess makeovers. I loved seeing them with all the characters. My family never had the money for big vacations when I was little, so I make sure they get to do it all as long as they appreciate it!

For me it would be when we were celebrating my birthday. I was getting my haircut in Magic Kingdom when the Barbershop Quartet came in ( the singing group that performs on Mainstreet) they saw my pin and sang happy birthday to me and took pictures it was a lot of fun. Or when we went down with my cousins we had a great time. Or when Jess called me when I was walking down in the hallway of AKL... I thought it was the funniest thing it was just all of her friends and her just screaming into the phone and I had no clue what they were saying. It was totally unexpected thats why I think I liked it so much.lol. I also had a great time in Bippidi Boppidee Boutique.

I love the Barbershop Quartet.
They were singing about Canada to us.
I found it amusing.

Well my most memorable experiences were not good ones. I uh, got my period at Disneyland, and didn't know it. I had khaki shorts on. I also almost fell into the trashcan in DTD in Disneyland too. Not the same time though.

For me, It was the time my grandson was 5yrs old and on his birthday He got picked to pull the sword out of the stone. He really thought he was strong enough to pull the sword when no one else could.

I remember my friend getting lost after going the bathroom. It's memorable for us. And when I just see the castle or the mickey hat or the golf ball or the tree of life, I am usally about to cry when I see them.

Last December I took my 10yoprincess: dd(we adopted her in Nov 06:goodvibes ) to Disney world for Christmas. She had never really been anywhere(not even to the county fair):sad2: . We had several "moments" at WDW- she got picked to be in the little parade that they do at the end of Festival of the LK-she also got picked to dance with one of the cowboys in the Toy Story show, near splash mt. We also did the BBB and she was so thrilled when she saw herself in the mirror as "Belle".
She has autism and is just learning to put words together to make sentences.
I had bought her a lanyard and she was going through all the characters-she got to Quasimodo and asked who it was, I told her his name. She tried to say his name, but it was pretty garbled-sounded like "amodo" She spent the next three days pointing to him on her lanyard and trying to say his name, by the time we left she was able to say Quasimodo:thumbsup2 . I was just amazed by her persistence at getting his name right.

For me, it's seeing all of the beautiful colors, hearing the yeti's roar from the matterhorn, and watching the fireworks show, it makes me forget about all of my troubles. Also, going into DCA, I love listening to the beach boy music!
