Disney and mouses are fine during the day but I want to escape to luxury in the evenings. Any suggestions?

We stayed at the Gaylord Palms, and it was awesome! I'd say it was more luxurious than the Grand Floridian at Disney...

I have stayed at all three that Pat posted. Ritz wins hands down. It is wonderful

How about the J.W. Marriott? Haven't been there yet but it looks quite nice.

the reviews I have seem - say the Ritz (kinda of close to this Marriott) and Gaylord are better.

I like the Hyatt - it is much older - but it has one of the best swimming pools in the area.

I've stayed at the Ritz twice (which is on the same property as the JW Marriott). It's very nice, but I'm not a fan of the double beds in the rooms. I prefer queens. The bathrooms are huge, but the bedroom areas are kind of smallish for a luxury hotel, in my opinion.

Ill also throw in the the Peabody Orlando. Its directly across from the Orlando Convention Center and very nice.

I too like the Gaylord Palms sculpted after the Opryland.

GoofyFreek beat me to the Peabody. It would depend on the area I wanted to be in, but I'd choose between that, the Ritz, and Gaylord.
