Most expensive stateroom you saw at opening?

For kicks, I checked to see what the most expensive price was for a sailing this time.

Yesterday, I spied the 11 night France and Iceland cruise listed the Royals at $91,6xx for 2 adults.

Did anyone see anything higher?

We have our TA booking that cruise for us today with our 50% wish rescheduled credit but I checked the concierge just for fun and it’s even crazier expensive for our family of 5, even if we used 50% off.

There are plenty of people in this world that could afford that and wouldn't think anything of it. I've seen many Pro athletes on DCL ships.

Maybe when you have 100K you can afford 1M for a more private experience?
Or maybe not, it seems DCL can sell Concierge at any price and people are willing to commit to it.

Holy moly! On opening day, I priced out the Royal Suite for the 11-night Northern Europe cruise for 2 adults, 1 child and it was $74,000. Still pricey, but lower than the 10-night. I wonder why the 10-night France/Iceland cruise is priced so much higher? I see both Royals are still available for the 10-night . . .

Nuts! Even with the cash, I would pass. So many places and things to see that I could use the money for. Doesn't that world crusie cost that much? LOL

I want to know does one get even more at that price on service or extras? Do you get your own butler, it’s the service really first class like on those premier cruise lines. Seeing its Disney it wouldn’tt surprise me if one pays for all that and still needs to pay for popcorn at the movies lol.

People with money can do what they want- but if exclusivity is what you want there’s better ways to spend that money.

If people want exclusivity they're not booking a Disney cruise. The concierges for the Royal Suites are phenomenal, but Disney doesn't offer any truly luxury experiences on-board. If you're booking that room it's because you specifically want to be on a Disney cruise, and you want the best experience that Disney has to offer. And Disney doesn't seem to have much trouble selling the Royal Suites. They can be pretty hard to find unless booking well in advance (and most of my clients tend to book at closer to 3 months out).

I believe that - I was poking through Wish concierge next Spring for giggles, and the tower was booked on every one I looked at!
