Hello everyone!! This is probably an odd question; I'm not even sure how to ask it...which resorts have the most Disneyfied theming? I'm really bummed to see that rooms that have been refurbished have removed 95% of the Disney touches. Are there any rooms left that still look like a room at Disney or are do they all look like standard rooms at regular hotels now?

Well, if you mean on theme, IMO Boardwalk does a great job of decorating not only the common areas but the individual rooms and hallways very much on theme. I still see small "disney" flourishes in pretty much all the moderate and luxury resorts. But I haven't stayed in a room that I really felt was "disnified"

Characters all over the place? AoA is probably one of the only that fits that bill besides the royal rooms.

If you mean heavily themed I would throw CBR pirate rooms into there as well. I think most of the others are much less in your face themed but still reflect their resort theme, and then you have the rooms like the refurbished Pop which is probably one of the most generic but still have Disney art.

Art of animation. Great place to walk around especially at night with huge disney characters. All rooms are very heavily themed. Most other resorts have updated rooms to nice sleek rooms but only a few disney paintings really tell you inside the room that your at disney resort

While I can see why some like the OTT rooms I'm one of those that is glad all rooms are not like that. They are so busy they keep me up at night (exaggeration but not by much). We stayed in a suite at AoA at DGD's request and not huge fan. They are so busy and loud. Not at all relaxing. We find stimulation in the parks and prefer it not be in our room. Peace and relaxation are more important in our room. Someplace to escape the themes of the parks. The Riverside Royal rooms were a great compromise.

There are small touches of things even in the refurbed, more "sterile" rooms. Photo here, lamp there, that sort of thing. Not much but something.

I think even with the refurb, Alligator Bayou in Port Orleans still has some of those touches...at least based on the pictures.

Yes! That's exactly what I was mean. I don't need it look like Disney threw up in the room, but I want to know that we're at Disney and not you're everyday Holiday Inn.
I would add "anymore" to the end of your sentence. The personality has been taken out of them as the resorts are refurbed and now they look like every other sterile, boring hotel inside.
It's not a DVC renovation that turns the villas into Hampton Inns.
