Most Difficult Restaurants to get an ADR

Now that a lot of good restaurants are not open, I know it limits the pool of restaurants. A few of my favorites are not open for business. Can you tell me the most difficult ADRs to get right now at the parks or resorts? If there's a top 5 list out there I would love to know!

I made ADRs on Tuesday (60 days). Sci-fi and Via Napoli were the two that I had difficulty with. For Sci-fi, I was trying to book a party of 7, but the max they appear to be booking is 6 (that's all that can fit in one car). I tried to book 3 & 4, but there was nothing available for any size party at any time except for a party of 6. Booked that. DW and I just won't go with the rest of the crew. The other difficult one was Via Napoli. Same party of 7. Had to split into 3 & 4, but both were available at the same time.

For everything else, regardless of party size, I had no issues and lots of choices. That included Liberty Tree (7), Homecoming (5), Beaches & Cream (5) and Topolino's (2).

Reservations for end of October/beginning of November so I booked August 30 or when the dining reservation became available. Have 6 in the party.

Easy: Homecoming, Le Cellier, Garden Grill, the Wave, the Grand Floridian, Cindy's Royal Table, Chefs de France
Hard to get a good time (12-2 or 5-8) or limited days: Hollywood and Vine, Beaches and Cream, Topolino's

Only thing we couldn't get for party of 6 was Topolino's. Max number we could get was 4 for any breakfast.

ETA: Have neighbor going first week in December.
They said easy was Via Napoli, Le Cellier, Chefs de France, Chef Mickey's, and Sanaa, BOG .
They couldn't get a Beaches and Cream on the day they wanted.

The hardest ones for me were Via Napoli and Sanaa. I could not find openings the first 3-4 days of our trip in early December. I did manage to get everything I wanted, but I made my reservations right when my window opened. Good luck!

Both were available when I was booking today for December.

I'd say: Sci-Fi Dine Inn, Topolino's, Sanaa, Oga's, and Beaches and Cream. Several of those are smaller venues, so with the spacing concerns, they fill faster.

Yak & Yeti is owned by an independent company. Their non-disney website says to call for reservations. Also, consider getting a Landry's card if you cannot get a reservation.

I had better luck with the Landrys restaurants booking directly.. I also have the landrys club card

There have been reports that due to physical distancing of tables (sorry, there's nothing "social" about being distant) and shortened park hours, the "magic card" is not a guarantee that you'll get in. More than one person has reported either being turned away or watching people declaring "But I have the card" as they were turned away. The other benefits I believe are still intact, but I would not get the card just to get in somewhere without a reservation right now.

Remember to keep checking because everyone else moves their reservations around and things open up. I've been able to grab a few reservations that way. It's easy to do on My Disney Experience.

Sci Fi and California Grill. I think everything is 'easy' if you book the day your ADRs open but after that you have to start stalking some things.
