I think the Williamsburg Publix has been closed, correct? We used to stop there and apparently we need a new one along the way in, any suggestions?

Thanks,

According to the Publix website, the Williamsburg Downs Publix is open today. I don't know if there is another Publix that has "Williamsburg" in the title.

Assuming you're taking the north exit out of the airport onto State Road 528, there's a slightly closer Publix using the same exit. Go north instead of south and you'll hit the Publix at Lake Cay Commons.

No clue on the quality of either store, as I have no personal experience. That said, I've never visited a bad Publix in the 17ish years I've lived in Florida.

Thanks, all. I think the 'Williamsburg' store, which we learned about when Tiffany took us there, was being refurbed last visit, I'll check out the links provided.

Here is Bing Maps showing the route between the airport and Disney's Boardwalk Resort with Publix locations added. It will give you an idea of the closest locations along the route.

If you want to take the south exit out of the airport and head to Disney World on State Road 417, here's that route with Publix locations.

Looks like the one on Universal Blvd would be a quicker stop and go, thanks!

If you're planning to pay tolls in cash, be aware that some exits off both 528 & 417 may require exact change. Driving straight thru to WDW, that's only an issue if you use the Osceola Pkwy exit off 417.

Thanks, a roll of quarters is with us everywhere we dive in Fla. Maybe by Oct our PA Easy Pass will be accepted there.

It should be accepted by then for CFX (E-Pass) roadway, which includes the 417 between MCO & I-Drive.

But nothing has been announced yet for Turnpike (SunPass) roadway, which includes most of the 528 between MCO & I-4. (I think one or two exits on 528 are CFX.)
