I know we have talked about this before (but I can't find it).
I need a different strap. One that has some padding or at least doesn't make me sweat as much and is more comfortable!
Thanks.

We've got a Crumpler Industry Disgrace on both of our bodies. It's very comfortable, although a bit bulky to cram inside a camera bag.

Two that come to mind:

The Blackrapid strap - BlackRapid Link (W/F/S)

The Upstrap - Upstrap link (W/F/S)

I have the BlackRapid and really like it; Scott Bourne, from Photofocus.com, really likes it

Thanks. I saw the crumpler.
I'll look at the others too.
Which Black Rapid do you have? There are a lot of choices.

Well I have tried several straps, even borrowed a Black Rapid from a friend when she bought her first Crumpler Industry Disgrace.

For me, a hiker and traveler who wears a camera on my neck for hours on end nothing so far beats the comfort of the Crumpler Industry Disgrace as mentioned above. While I haven't taken it to the heat of WDW in the summer yet I have worn it hiking and walking in the 95+ summer heat of Boy Scout camp for six hours at a time.

Yes, I did find it ever so slightly warm on a bare neck but it is still the most comfortable neck strap I've ever had in more than 10 years of carrying various cameras.

Thanks. This is the kind of stuff I wanted to hear. :)

I have a Crumpler Industry Disgrace. I originally bought it because the camo print (the special edition a couple years ago) on it matched my shoes. LOL

I've had a lot of straps and this is by far the most comfortable strap I've worn. I have taken it out in the Texas summer heat while hiking and to WDW in August. The thing breathes better than any other strap I've had and distributes the weight very well. It did get a little itchy to me when I was really sweaty, but not nearly as bad as other straps have. When I hike or hit the parks I do wear it across my body, rather than around my neck.

Thanks! I ordered one. Got 15% off. so saved a bit.

This is good to know because I'm looking for a different strap also. We always go to WDW during the summer and at the beginning of the trip I will carry my backpack etc. By the end of the trip it's just my camera, extra battery, memory card, and a giant Ziploc bag.

The humidity really whips me in Florida. Living in Texas, I can take the heat. My wife says that I'm getting old. I need a strap that not black.

No mention of Op/Tech? Their Pro strap was generally considered (around here, at least) the strap to get until the R-Strap came along. (It also comes in different colors!) I've seen Photopass folks using 'em, too. The downside is that they can get your neck a little sweaty, but probably no worse (and maybe better) than any other big neck strap.

I've got a couple of the R-Strap RS-7s. They are certainly not a perfect design, but are easily the most comfortable one. Some improvements could be made (like adding more springiness like the Op/Tech and some texturing to discourage slipping, and maybe some more QC - the two I've got now have different ways the strap is threaded through the plastic buckles), and some are unavoidable with the design (the connector is in the way when shooting in portrait mode and can be a pain when going to use a tripod.) Unfortunately, they're pretty highly-priced, too, as are the accessories. If they chopped the price in half, they'd still be more than the Op/Tech Pro strap!

I got the Crumpler and it is pretty nice. Haven't had the opportunity to use it out of the house yet, so it remains to be seen if it is truly the most comfortable. But so far, I like it.
