Most annoying or best place to get stuck/delayed??

Best places thus far have been during the summer and I was dead tired from walking all day.

1. Expedition Everest...in the cavern with the Yeti....laying/tilted down... looking directly at the Yeti so we were able to take pictures...AND IT WAS AIR CONDITIONED!:cool1:

2. Spaceship Earth...ready to go back down...laying/tilted down...low music and dark and so soothing...AND IT WAS AIR CONDITIONED!:cool1:

We got stuck on the first hill going up. Looking into the sun on a hot day was not fun. We took some pictures even though castmembers were telling us not to.
Luckily we weren't too far up since we had to be "rescued" and get off the ride. Glad everyone on the ride was good with it since i had my DS 7 at the time who did not like Everest in the first place. We got fast passes and he went on again -was worried that would be it for him...

Got stuck in the burning scene-We were all a little nuts due to the music ( I love disney music but this was too much) they finally cut the music and turned up the lights after about 20 minutes but we still were stuck for another 20 after that.

Just goes to show that being stuck on any ride can be a nightmare or a delight. It is the luck of the draw just exactly where you end up. I'm glad that your son was resolute in his positive attitude. :thumbsup2

Last Dec... my hubby and I were stuck at the knocking doors in the hallway at the Haunted Mansion for about 15 minutes... :scared1: He said, "I love you, but NEVER again will I go on this ride!" :sad2: Of course we went on again, but this time we were stuck backwards down the hill going into the grave yard scene... all that we could see was the ceiling and could hear the crying dog. He said, "I love you, but this time is the last time..." :lmao: I know we will go again and again and again... Boy, he must really love me!! :lovestruc

Soooo funny.:lmao: I'm sure that he really does love you, but I think those memories are priceless and will forever be a part of dinner party conversation for years to come.:rotfl2:

As long as it doesn't look like the dinner party in The Haunted Mansion!! :rotfl2:

Actually, you just made me think that would be a great place to get stuck. :cool1:

I always try to absorb everything that is going on down there but it passes by too fast. I'm sure I still haven't seen all the small details.:thumbsup2

Me too, I always seem to look at the same things everytime: the Hidden Mickey in the plates, the dancers, and the gunfighters in the portraits. Next time I'm going to look elsewhere!!:thumbsup2popcorn::

I got stuck on Its a small world once and heard the song replay at least 15 times before we ever moved :scared1:

Back in 1975, our first Disney Trip, we got stuck on the Peter Pan Ride. It was at the point where we were "flying" downwards. I think we were there for 30 minutes. They gave us free "E" tickets for the inconvenience. Yes, it was back during the ticket book days.
